In his merchandising career, Nelson Mui’s profit and loss responsibilities approached upwards of $1B in sales across price points from mass to luxury. Presenting directly to the Chairman or Board of Directors, Mui regularly developed and executed seasonal merchandising strategies and investments, sales and margin targets, and longer-term priorities. He honed his negotiations skills with 200+ brand partners, managing every aspect of product—from margins, season-end returns and support, to marketing collaborations. As a marketer and an assigning editor, Mui managed and supervised budgets, timelines, and hiring of vendors, free-lance art directors, writers.
A Hong Kong native educated in North America and Europe, Mui possesses global experience and perspective, with his most recent roles in Asia focused on Chinese, Japanese and Korean consumers.
